I don't feel like undoing the bandage right now, but Charlotte is taking a nap so I have time to write. I will take another picture of the smashed finger later.So, to begin...I took the HARDEST test I have ever taken...EVER...this morning. It is an online linguistics class and she made us take our exam on campus...on a SATURDAY morning! I am the second to last person to finish our 500 word essay exam and feel pretty good about my work (wrote over 600 words FYI). I open the door to leave and it shuts really fast and I put my hand up to catch it and my hand slid into the door jamb and SMASHED my ring finger. It looked FLAT. HOLY COW PAIN!!! Hypno-birthing techniques...out the window...it HURT! My teacher and the other guy in the room froze. That's right...I had to be the logical one and tell them who to call and what to do. LAME I KNOW. My mom came and got me and Nicholas met me there. Well, I iced it and due to our Medi-cal being canceled because of my winnings on Wheel of Fortune...we have no insurance. Luckily Fresno State has a health center that can x-ray and fix my fingure...I just have to wait until monday.
Positives:
- It is my left hand.
- my sister had vicodin from her postpartum.
- I was able to finish my test and felt good about it.
- It happened aftet the hardest test if my life...not before.
- I missed my water polo games I was supposed to ref today.
- It HURTS!
- I can not straighten it all the way.
- I can not bend the little knuckle at all.
- Its swollen.
- There are two huge dents where the skin is bruised and broken.
- IT HURTS!

Ouch! What a bummer, if you need any help at all just let me know...you know where to find me :)
Also, be very careful, Preston broke his finger 5 years ago and it ended up needing surgery to fix. They had to re-break it and pin it back together. It was gross!
Poor Holly! Hope it gets better soon and that you're able to take it easy.

Did you swear? j/k But really when Logan and I were dating I accidentally slammed my finger in a door and broke it and a swear word just came out. Logan was standing right next to me and he spanked me without even thinking. haha. It hurt so bad but we laughed so hard because 1. Why did I swear? and 2. Why was logans response to spank me? haha. It will ache this winter when it gets cold so keep your hand nice and toasty. Hope it gets better fast!
I had almost forgotten about those fun merry go round pics! I will need to see those sometime! haha

Owww!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry that you broke it! I know that hurts!!! I broke my left pinky, and they had to do 2 surgeries to attempt to fix it. Let us know if we can do anything for you guys!!!

ouch! i smashed my thumb in a truck door and it hurt for about a year. i never got it checked though...

We used to live next door to them in Derby Acres (by Taft)when Josh and Krystal were little...we lost touch ever since Molly was born. I'm wondering where Bruce and Kathy (the mom & dad) live now.
