How to make a Spin Art Machine

I felt like this after completing this project!
Here is the first shirt I made.

A cute little one running around making a mess while you work will keep your spirits up.

Buy or use a box fan you have already.

Remove the grates.
Saw off the blades
Drill holes then screw on "L" brackets

measure the radius of the circle on the fan and draw a circle on the 1/4" MDF board

Center the Circles over eachother and screw it down through the small 1'x1' square and the large Circle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the circle can not extend larger than the box fan-center of gravity must remain inside the peramiters of the box.

Use cardboard and cut 8" high strips to create a paint barrier. Duck (duct) tape worked best to secure the shirt to the circle...BUT fold the shirt with desired area centered (chest, side, back) and use masking tape to secure the folds on the back. (I tried all kinds of clamps-C,butterfly,clothes pins ect.--they fly off)

Turn fan on highest speed and squirt paint while spinning. If specific design is desired (star, peace, heart ect), squirt on first and then spin -try to center design.
And HOORAY a unique masterpiece! The girls at camp loved it and a lot of them got so creative!

Love this! I'd like to build one but I have a ???
What do you mean by "Center the Circles over eachother and screw it down through the small 1'x1' square and the large Circle." (3rd to last image, I think) Did you use a foot square piece of mdf plus a circle of mdf (of yhe proper diameter of the box fan) and screw all the way though both mdf sheets? I didn't notice any screws/bolts in the image of the round mounted mdf. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mona (mfl12345atgmaildotcom)
