Well, nine months went by a lot slower while I was pregnant. I can't believe how close the little baby on my ticker is to that 1. Its madness how fast time flies! At her 9 month check up the doctor said she is looking wonderful and that we are doing great! Hooray! I have fooled her...just kidding :-D
- 19 lbs 10 oz and 28 1/4 inches long (one of you got it right on the poll) as for the other two votes...I too thought for sure she was over 20 lbs!!!
- She will crawl but prefers to scream until you give her what she wants
- Pulls up on everything
- Walks along the couch
- Walks while holding my hands
- Stands alone
- Feeds herself and sometimes uses her index and middle finger like chop sticks to pick things up.
- Holds her own nuby sippy cup
- Has expanded her vocabulary extensively to; mom mom mom, da da da, ba ba ba, smack smack smack, click click click, oo oo, ah ah (for reals, I think she is a monkey when she says oo oo oo, or ah ah AH) and plenty of sqwacking squealing and screaming. AND she will say bye bye bye bye. By far my favorite is when she whispers...I love it! It is the most adorable thing in the world to me. She will whisper when she wakes up. I finally pin pointed that it reminded me of parcel tongue from Harry Potter. Its real sneaky and airy whisper.
- She waved for the first time at the doctors office for her 9 month appt...everyone was waving at her so of course she did it back.
- Playing fetch with mom and dad is fun to throw something off the couch or chair then lean over and look at it...then look at us and then...back at it...then squeal-AH! She does have magical power because it always ends up back in front of her.
- Her new favorite thing to do is swing! She always reaches back for the swing when I take her out. She LOVES it!
- Of course she loves to dump everything out and make messes now.
- She is such a good girl! (despite the messes) I love this video of her waiting to see the doctor...we only had to get her flu shot...which was nothing compared to last time and 6 shots.

She is so cute. How come I never see her and she is right next door to me. If you ever need a babysitter, you know who to call :)

You think that's a mess?? Look back at this post the same time next year and you'll laugh...life doesn't truly begin until they're walking (which after the first I tried to delay as long as possible!)
Look at all that hair! I love it! she's so adorable.
She is so big and cute! I can't believe she is 9 months old! time goes by so fast! Things are going good with Lily and baby. I am ready to have him already. I still have 2 more months though. He is going to be really big. My prediction is that he will be 9 lbs. He is already 4 lbs. Scary! Hope everything is great! It looks like Halloween was fun! I love holidays with kids! It's so much more fun!
